Disaster Looms: Travers Beynon’s $500,000 Party Almost Crashed Out After Rogue Firework Hit The Field Opposite ‘The Candyman's’ Mansion Starting Off A WILDFIRE...

Travers Beynon aka 'Candyman" threw a lavish party over the weekend in his mansion which almost went bad on Saturday night after a fireworks display started a fire in a field opposite his mansion and started a blaze.

The fire could be seen burning in the field across the river from The Candyman’s Helensvale, Gold Coast mansion as 500 hand-picked guests partied in skimpy costumes.

It started after a firework from a pyrotechnics show for the party flew up from the river-front mansion and landed in empty land on the opposing bank.

Soon arrived the emergency services vehicles (obscured) attending to the fire, which was brought under control



Mr Beynon (second from left) hosted the over-the-top party, which featured, among other things, an massive fireworks display
